‘The Mindy Project’ is Back for Season 4…But On Hulu (Trailer)

With other series, there’s hardly any change at all: Cougar Town remained the same throughout its run, the most noticeable post-move change being that TBS promoted the series more (and with a bigger emphasis on the cul-de-sac crew being booze hounds). I think that’s a very good skill – editing your work and not just doing provocative first draft material makes a show better, especially when the characters are so outrageous.

“The Mindy Project” has found a new home on Hulu.

Last season threw a few obstacles Mindy’s way: her surprise pregnancy, her attempt to open a fertility clinic, and Danny refusing to marry her (after a bad marriage, he prefers to avoid the institution). “What’s great is we’ve already established Annette and Mindy is kind of attached to her, so now that we have her actual biological mother there and they haven’t seen each other as much, there’s nearly a natural rivalry between the two grandmas”, teases executive producer Matt Warburton.

Followers will come for the chapter photo-documenting a day in her life, and keep for an invented e mail trade between a fictional model of Mindy and a highschool instructor. She tells the man, played by Anders Holm, “I didn’t know that job was real”.

Kunal Nayyar from “The Big Bang Theory” will also guest star this season as Sendhil, a hedge fund manager from India who will play a prospective husband for Kaling.

“What I’m asking for just isn’t that a lot“, she writes within the chapter instantly following her account of her time with Will. “I simply need a boyfriend who is nice and reliable”.

Dr. MINDY LAHIRI (Kaling) is a talented obstetrician with a hectic personal life, who struggles to find the right guy, the right outfit and the right attitude.

Season 4 of The Mindy Project premieres September 15 on Hulu.
