Vince picked for England’s T20 squad
Imran took 16 wickets in seven matches, including a hat-trick, as he spearheaded Peshawar to the title with a win over Karachi in Tuesday’s final.
“We have rewarded some outstanding performers in the recently concluded tournament and Imran was one of them”, chief selector Haroon Rasheed said in a press release release.
Pakistan’s selectors, who have also named two limited-overs squads to travel to Zimbabwe, have left one place open in the list of names to face England in three Tests.
Wickekeeper Sarfraz Ahmed has gone to perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia and will skip the Twenty20 series.
Since making his comeback with a remodelled action against Bangladesh in April, he has shown little of the form that brought him 24 wickets during Pakistan’s 3-0 whitewash over then world number one Test team England in the United Arab Emirates three years ago.
