You can call it Donald Trump week on Fox News.
Trump accused the group recently of trying to get him to donate $1 million. A new CBS News/New York Times poll also says Trump is leading, but by a narrower four-point margin over retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.
The speech came on the eve of the second GOP presidential debate.
Far larger pro-Republican operations – including the Koch brothers-led Americans for Prosperity, GOP strategist Karl Rove’s Crossroads groups and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – said they have no immediate plans to spend money trying to swat down Trump, who has in the past has identified himself as “more of a Democrat”.

He has since signed a pledge vowing to support the party’s nominee. That would seem to rule out the possibility he would make a third-party bid if the victor is someone else. Trump did once again blast the Iran nuclear deal reached by President Barack Obama and world powers, and offered some more details on his pledge to tear apart the Department of Veterans Affairs and improve health care for former service members.
