Accenture Acquires Cloud Sherpas to Boost Cloud Consulting Chops
As its recognition demonstrates, Cloud Sherpas’ services are delivered by a team of cloud experts, developers and product support specialists globally who have designed and implemented Salesforce solutions with great success for some of the largest companies around the world. Some of Cloud Sherpas’ strongest work has been bringing cloud services from the likes of Salesforce.com, Google and ServiceNow to large-sized enterprises across the globe.
Cloud Sherpas itself has been getting bigger over the last few years, namely through acquisitions of its own such as CloudTrigger and a merger with cloud computing integrator Global One.
“We’ve reached a tipping point in cloud as our clients rapidly adopt cloud systems”, he said.
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with Accenture“, Cloud Sherpas CEO David Northington said.
In July, Accenture announced an agreement to acquire EnergyQuote JHA, a London-based energy-management company, as well as the cloud-consulting firm Solium, based in Madrid, and Hong Kong-based PacificLink Group.
Paul Daugherty, chief technology officer of Accenture, said the business unit’s aim is to help the firm keep up with the rapid pace of cloud adoption within the enterprise. As a member of the Salesforce Partner Program for Consulting Partners, Cloud Sherpas provides a full range of professional services for Salesforce implementations and integrations. Cloud Sherpas was born in the cloud and we are perfectly aligned with Accenture’s cloud-first agenda.
“The combination of our capabilities and experience with Accenture’s scale, broad industry expertise and global cloud application capabilities represents a unique and compelling opportunity for our clients, for our people and for the future of cloud technology”.
