Former Denver radio personality sues Taylor Swift for false accusations
After the photograph was taken, Taylor Swift accused the DJ of lifting her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom”.
According to the suit, Mueller and his girlfriend, Shannon Melcher, posed for a photo with Swift. Mueller, who was then host of 98.5 KYGO’s “Ryno and Jackson” morning show, was invited as part of his job to a meet and greet backstage.
It would be an accurate claim to say Taylor Swift’s butt is generally pretty honest.
However, a spokesperson for Taylor has hit back and claimed that the radio station made their decision independently after looking at all the evidence against Mueller, following the alleged incident.
The “Shake It Off” singer has picked up the Original Interactive Program accolade for her “AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience”, which debuted with the release of her “Blank Space” video a year ago and on which the 25-year-old star is executive producer. After this, her security team surrounded the two radio station employees, and they were forced to leave the concert. His lawsuit also stated that he had met a lot of celebrities and no incident alike had happened. According to the filing, the co-worker “described and demonstrated how he had put his arms around her [Swift]” as well as how he put his “hands on her bottom”.
The Daily Mail reported, the former DJ, Mueller is presumably suing the singer to payback the amount of money he makes a year since he lost his job.
In “the photograph, Ms. Swift is smiling and hugging Ms. Melcher”.
“The contention that Mr. Mueller lifted up Ms. Swift’s skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms. Swift’s photographer and Ms. Swift’s highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense”.
Mueller’s “annual base salary was $150,000, with the potential for significant additional compensation in the forms of performance bonuses, product endorsement fees, and public appearance fees”, the legal documents say.
Mueller, who denies having touched Swift inappropriately, states that he was sacked June 4, 2013 because of these allegations. E!
