Is This G-Rated ‘Trap Queen’ Version the Lamest Cover Ever?

The confidence Fetty Wap has shown in rocking his missing eye without a prosthetic has inspired a young boy who’s facing almost the same challenges as Fetty, reports MTV News.

His mum, Brenda Vaden, in a heartfelt Facebook post said it was all thanks to Wap.

Many close friends, and of course our family know that Jayden was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma at the age of 1. He’s worn a prosthetic eye since then. He lost an eye to glaucoma as a child, giving him an appearance that accentuates his gangster image.

The song underwent lyric changes like: “You looked pretty-awesome when you came in the door/I just wanna chill got some dough for us to roll”.

If Kidz Bop and radio edit versions of songs have taught us anything, it’s that songs with racy lyrics suffer like no other when you try to clean them up.

As far as the music goes, Fetty Wap likes the idea of trap, and the best of his music, such as the squelchy abstractions at the end of “Again” and the sparse blend of soulful vocals and percussion on “Time” hint at future potential. “It’s how you see it, and what your [sic] looking for from yourself”.
