Uncharted 4 Beta Date Announced
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection includes the singleplayer components of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, all remastered for PlayStation 4 and running at 1080p / 60fps.
The early-access period, which is exclusively available to those who purchase a copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and hold a PS Plus membership, will run from December 4 through December 13.
You can expect to hear and see more of the story campaigns in The Nathan Drake Collection in the following weeks, as we get closer to its debut in October, not to mention the Uncharted 4 multiplayer mode, as the release of the beta starts closing in.
Naughty Dog slightly disappointed everyone when they announced the delay for the next installment of Uncharted, which is now expected to release on March 18, 2016.
The collection releases October 9th and is one of the very few Fall exclusives on PS4. Titled “Life of a Thief” the trailer has the usual cool shots from the first three games in the series. Oh, and a free demo of the Collection will go on the PSN on September 29; you can sample a co-op mission from the second Uncharted.
There will also be tweaks to the control scheme, gameplay mechanics and the likes in order to bring the older games more in line with the latest one (Uncharted 3).
