YouTube Gaming live streaming on Android coming soon
Well, today, YouTube has announced another interesting feature is coming right up.
YouTube Gaming was first launched in the US and UK in August, and is a slick portal focusing the substantial portion of YouTube’s market which creates and consumes video game related videos and, in particular, streams.
YouTube has announced that the android phone users would soon be able to live stream their mobile gaming sessions directly to the service.
The YouTube Gaming app launched on Android about a month ago, but now we’re already hearing about a significant update that’s on the way.
Japan’s mobile games define its gaming culture…
There’s plenty of competition in a video game streaming space that is populated by the Amazon-owned Twitch service and a handful of others.
The update was confirmed during a keynote speech by Ryan Wyatt, YouTube’s global head of gaming partnerships, at theTokyo Game Show, but precise timings weren’t given. Gamers are constantly trying to share their experiences through live-streaming and that makes YouTube Gaming very appealing.
It’s not quite clear how the Android streaming option will work yet, what resolutions or any other features will be supported. But more details will probably be made available soon enough.
Go to Twitch.tv and you’ll be greeted by hundreds of streams from PC and console gamers.
