Lorde made headlines at New York Fashion Week, but not for her style choices – rather her rumored pink eye. Lorde has posted make-up free selfies before, but these pics show a clean face and a painful looking eye.

So, she didn’t say what was actually wrong with her, but she did give fans a tease about an upcoming project and her newfound friendship with Drizzy, who by the way, reciprocated the love on his own Instagram.

After speculation began to circulate, Lorde took to Instagram to address her painful looking, purple eye.

The singer took to Twitter to let us know that she is in the recording studio literally all day every day and the one time she decides to step out and head to an event, her eye just didn’t want to cooperate. Lorde seems to have some rash or infection in her right eye, but it isn’t stopping her from attending fashion shows.

“The skin is peeling off my lips and hands”.

Perhaps, her health problems come from her late nights working on some new music.

According to E! News, Lorde wasn’t going to let a little eye ailment keep her from attending Kanye West’s runway show, but everyone had one question on their minds: “Does Lorde have pink eye?” Whatever it is, fans are hoping she feels better real soon.
