“We were originally planning on doing two sets of DLC”, Yamagiwa told Eurogamer at the Tokyo Game Show this week.
Sony boss, Shuhei Yoshida, just took the stage to thank Bloodborne fans world over as the title has sold two million copies since its release earlier this year. However, Bloodborne The Old Hunters is probably going to be the last expansion that you get; the developers are done with making more content for the game. One of the show’s very first was the reveal of the previously-teased Bloodborne expansion, titled The Old Hunters. In this new world, players will be able to explore a variety of new locations, fight new enemies and obtain new equipment and weapons that will add more variety to players’ combat strategy.
The new DLC update from From Software, named the Old Hunters, will see its digital release On PS4 on November 24.

The Old Hunters will be accessible at some point in the first half of the game after a number of unnamed conditions have been met, and it’s said to offer a sizeable challenge. New NPC summons are also being added throughout the base Bloodborne campaign for players to seek out.
The Old Hunters will also be bringing 10 new weapons: a whip that converts into a katana, a stun-bomb, a cleaver, a dagger that doubles as a bow and arrow, and more. The new Bloodborne DLC will be set inside a nightmare, that trapped some of Yharnam’s oldest hunters, and Yamagiwa says The Old Hunters is an “opportunity to meet” the city’s former heroes.
