Rocket League: Revenge of The Battle Cars DLC Releases in October
Whether or not you decide to purchase this new DLC pack, every Rocket League player will get some new content courtesy of a free update coming to the game in a simultaneous release.
The upcoming DLC will see players to getting two new cars, Scarab and Zippy, fan favorite vehicles from the developer’s previous installment Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars, released in 2008 and is now the prequel to the more successful Rocket League. You can check out the new features in the attached trailer. New trophies and achivements will also be added.
Rocket League is one of the most critically-acclaimed games of the summer, boasting a community that is already more than 6 million players strong.

The developer really wants you to remember the PlayStation 3 exclusive, though, which is why it’s preparing a new expansion pack named Revenge of the Battle-Cars. Players will be handed control of a rocket-powered auto and will be required to hit a huge soccer ball towards their opponent’s goal. It is now available for PS4, PC and Mac and costs $19.99 in the Steam store.
Rocket League has officially sold more than one million units on Valve‘s Steam platform and was the #1 selling game on Steam for the month of July and a top seller again in August.
Two free variations of Rocket League arenas Urban Station and Utopia Coliseum in Night and Dusk forms will also be made available to all players.
In other news, Psyonix is also planning to release a movie based on the Rocket League game along with a dedicated TV show and toy figures.
