Parents forgive sons accused of trying to kill them
Police said Yvonne Ervin called 911 at 7:49 a.m. September 5 and told emergency dispatchers that her sons Cameron, 17, and Christopher Ervin, 22, were trying to kill her and her husband, Zachary Ervin.
Although the reason for the checked brutality still isn t transparent, the men have advised private investigators they had a troublesome family life.
Police say one of two brothers accused of drugging and beating their parents had been planning the attack since he was 11 years old. “We grasp there may be penalties for the things they did, they will fully understand that, but we’re just supplication the fact that the environment forgives…”
During interviews, one of the sons also admitted that he wanted to cover up the evidence by setting the house on fire.
The parents told police their sons also tried to strangle them, and Yvonne Ervin said that what she believed was a flammable liquid had been poured on her, WXIA reported.
“We forgive our sons, we love them unconditionally”, he said.
The police documents do not name which brother said he had been planning the attack since age 11, reports WSB-TV. She said they offered to cook dinner for her and Zachary, which was out of character for them. “We have to make sure that they understand that to strengthen themselves”.
“God has done miraculous healing with us. We’re doing great. We’re healing both mentally and physically”. But friends and family say that is nonsense. Both brothers remain in the Gwinnett County Detention Center, according to Sheriff’s Department records.
