Project X Zone 2 will arrive overseas in February
Bandai Namco has posted the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Project X Zone 2: fearless New World, showing much of the cast that is set to appear in the crossover RPG.
Players can control several groups of “Project X Zone 2” characters on a grid-based map. Characters are then split into either battle ready pairs or support characters that act as summonable characters for the pair you equip them to. Characters from iconic franchises like Tekken, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Mega Man X will make a return, along with newcomers like Captain Commando, Phoenix Wright, and Felicia from the Darkstalkers series.
Each battle pair will have several attacks which, when used correctly, allows players to juggle their opponents.
What do you think about Project X Zone 2? This will significantly change their attack dynamics and combos from the previous game. They can also select characters and place them in pairs. After you do this for all of your characters, the enemies get their own chance to attack and you may choose to counterattack, defend, or simply take the damage.
To my delight then, Project X Zone 2 was officially announced for a Western release, though we’ll have to wait until February 16, 2016.
