Lenovo Lemon X Smartphone To be Designed by Motorola

In case you don’t know, Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility from Google past year in October. As you can see, Lenovo clearly suggests that Motorola will be designing Lenovo’s upcoming smartphones.

The Lemon X will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 21 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 8 MP selfie shooter, Snapdragon 808 SoC, 2 or 3 GB RAM, and at least 32 GB internal storage space, along with microSD card slot. Former President of Motorola, Rick Osterloh, will probably be number 1 the incorporated phone product. While the leak didn’t give us any specs, the design certainly looks like it came straight out of Motorola’s playbook. Some other similar design cues of the Lemon X are the oval-shaped metal that wraps around the camera and fingerprint sensor on the back of the device, and the overall shape of the device itself. The biggest of these resemblances seems to be the antennae band wrapped around the outer edge of the device, something that you can see in Motorola’s Moto X smartphones as well as the Nexus 6. Then there exists a finger-print sensing unit included in the electrical panel, slightly below behind video camera.

Lenovo had recently announced that going forward Motorola will design, develop and manufacture smartphones on its behalf.

The Lenovo Lemon X has got a front panel with three capacitive buttons – Home, Back and Multi-Window. As we can see from the Dolby branding on the back panel, the speakers will probably be powered by Dolby audio technology.
