Are you taking part in Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning?
Oswestry, United Kingdom, September 19, 2015 -(PR.com)- Hair and Beauty staff and students at the Oswestry Campus of North Shropshire College (NSC) will be holding the College’s annual Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning on Tuesday, 22nd September; the event is NSC’s contribution to the Macmillan Cancer Support “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning”.
M&S and Macmillan are working together to fund more specialist Macmillan services in local communities across the UK.
The coffee morning is the second charitable event David has coordinated for Macmillan this year, after he and his sister, Jeanette raised an impressive £800 in hiking the Chilterns at the of July. “I think it’s a mark of how much people love this event that every year it gets bigger and bigger”. The countdown is on and we’ve got lots planned to raise vital funds for this very worthy cause.
Electroustic would like to invite companies in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas to come along and make new friends, enjoy some homemade cakes and help raise money for Macmillan from 10am to noon. Two bespoke Coffee Morning badges designed by renowned British designer Sophie Conran, which also feature her own recipes, are also available from Cafés and Foodhalls for a suggested donation of £2.
Christina Keith, Macmillan fundraising manager, said: “Last year we raised a record-breaking amount of money from the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and we really hope we can repeat that again this year”.
Coffee mornings are also due to take place at The Sustainability Centre, 53 Windmill Close, Clanfield, and St John’s Church Hall, Rowland’s Castle, on the day.
