Trump tackles important National Football League questions in Twitter chat
Brady responded in kind by displaying the candidate’s campaign hat in his locker and revealing his hope that his wealthier friend win the presidency.
Whenever a presidential candidate (or anyone, really) decides to host a Q&A on Twitter, it’s always going to be full of smart alecks thinking of a amusing tweet instead of wanting earnest answers.
Remember a few weeks back when someone showed up to the first Republican debate with a sign asking whether Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco is “elite”? The Ravens quarterback has a Super Bowl title and MVP under his belt. “I would say absolutely he is an elite quarterback”.
“I think Joe Flacco is actually a very elite quarterback”, Trump said.
Another topic that Trump hit on in his Twitter Q&A: The impact of Tony Romo’s broken collarbone. “It certainly will hurt Dallas, but their defense is excellent”, he said.
Trump didn’t forget to praise Brady after the New England Patriots quarterback said last week that it would be “great” if Trump won next year’s election. The question was submitted, it somehow (or very intentionally) got selected from the deluge of submissions – and Trump delivered an earnest answer.
