TCU senior defensive end Mike Tuaua arrested Monday
There is also a report that the player told police he didn’t drink the beer in question, but cans of that brand were found in his backyard, which they used to further connect him to the incident.
Minor injuries were sustained by two of the students attacked, and one was transported to the hospital for treatment.
When police woke beck up, he tried to leave the scene and reportedly hit one of the patrol vehicles in the process.
Tuaua’s suspension was announced on Monday, as both he and Petties-Wilson were arrested that day. Like Tuaua, he has not played the past two weeks.
TCU officials said the players are under investigation by the university and could face penalties for violating the university’s Code of Student Conduct.
Petties-Wilson, a redshirt freshman, is a reserve wide receiver. Tuaua is known for his unruly hair.
Other local schools that made the list were Texas A&M (3rd overall, 22 arrests), Oklahoma (fifth overall, 21 arrests), and Texas (30th overall, 10 arrests).
Tuaua started five games last season and was expected to play a bigger part in the Horned Frogs defense, which has been decimated by injuries.
