Rutgers football coach suspended, fined for improper conduct

The talented runner will get a chance to go for three in a row this week when the San Diego State Aztecs come to town.

But really, how could the former not finally catch up to the latter? The Nittany Lions have 18 players from New Jersey while Rutgers has 17 Pennsylvania products on its roster. “Obviously pass protection and things like that [are important], but to me a running back has got to bring that to the table”. Akeel Lynch didn’t have to do anything but motor straight ahead through a hole that a Penn State blue bus could have fit through.

“I feel like it’s a great thing that we rotate the backs”, the senior captain said. But when Saquon has goals and motivation, he stays on task. I don’t know if he was in shock.

And that put added stress on a Rutgers defense that was able to pitch a first-quarter shutout but couldn’t hold out in the second quarter. Akeel Lynch rushed for 120 yards on ten carries, putting the rock in the endzone once. They dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball and won the special teams battle handily.
