‘Messi More Influential Than Ronaldo’

The accolade for the best player in the world does not go to his La Liga counterpart, Cristiano Ronaldo either.

Choosing between Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi is like deciding between “white truffles and caviar”, according to Portugal great and former FIFA world player of the year Luis Figo, who added that comparing them “is not very positive”.

“People are always talking about whether Messi or Ronaldo is the best, but for me it’s Neymar“, Carlos said.

While we’d have to disagree with Carlos, who’s today’s player/manager of Indian Super League club Delhi Dynamos, you have to respect the patriotism.

Despite Carlos’ beliefs, most football fans will not yet place Neymar in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo. “Brazil are building a team for the Copa America”.

The Bundesliga is best represented in the top 10 with three players included.

Neymar’s reaction to those upset with Roberto Carlos. His career has also lead to Barcelona winning multiple titles which make his case for best that much stronger.

I think that here in Barcelona, Neymar does much more than he does in Brazil, because he has a fully formed team.

One way or another, this summer looks to be the most pivotal in deciding Ronaldo’s last “big” move or if he is set to begin his ultimate and unfortunate decline at the club which has brought him almost endless success. Neymar won the Silver medal four years later at the London Olympics.
