Ted Cruz and Kentucky Sen. In his evening remarks, he criticized Republican congressional leaders, saying they were not doing enough to defund Planned Parenthood and that they were “trying to pound all of us into submission”.
He added: “If conservatives unite, this primary is over”.
“I’m still evaluating the candidates because you just never know what’s going to come out about them”.
“It’s not that women are better than men -“, she said, cut off by a shout of “Yes, you are!”
When asked explicitly if Obama is a Muslim, Cruz wouldn’t answer answer the question straight.
Despite some doubt that she might fade in the presence of the top talent, Fiorina shone through again, landing blows on Donald Trump and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. “Leadership isn’t defined by position, or title, or how big your office is, your airplane, your helicopter, your ego”, she told Michigan Republicans. She’s delivered the line before.
Carly Fiorina barely made it off the ferry dock at Mackinac Island. “Me too”, she said.
“Carson and many, many others”, she said. Besides Bush, others campaigning on the northern Michigan island include Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Texas Sen.
Six presidential hopefuls are on the island for the event.
Trump argues that he would have faced criticism if he had jumped in.
Walker attended the forum, put on by an evangelical conservative group, in Iowa, where he has seen his lead among likely Republican caucus goers disappear in the past two months.
Trump says that McCain “just ripped that microphone out of the woman’s hand” and describes that as “a little bit harsh”.
Snyder declines to name his favorite presidential candidates but prefers a governor.
Kasich says he’d “know what to do” if elected because of his resume.
The 2016 Republican presidential candidate has been mingling at an Iowa event for evangelical voters. Romney got more than $9 million in contributions from individuals, while President Barack Obama tallied $5.7 million from people across the state.
Jeb Bush hopes to do well in the Republican primaries in both Georgia and South Carolina, so he’s not about to offend football fans in either state.
