‘She was a demon’: Suspect in ‘Baby Doe’ murder obsessed with occult

Bond was charged with accessory to murder after the fact and was held on $1 million cash bail.

Rachelle Bond, the mother of Bella, and Michael McCarthy appeared in court for the first time for their arraignments in Dorchester Municipal Court in Boston, Mass., on Monday.

A Massachusetts prosecutor says the mother of Baby Doe reported that her boyfriend killed the girl when she wouldn’t go to sleep one night and he called her a demon.

According to Lavoie, when Ms. Bond had not heard any noise, she went in and found Bella “lying on a bed and McCarthy standing over her with his hand near her abdomen”.

The friend then reached out to McCarthy via text message and asked him about Bella’s death, and McCarthy said she was with DCF, Deakin said.

‘When Miss. Bond looked at Bella, her head was swollen, and her face was gray.

– McCarthy and Rachelle Bond shot up heroin and became intoxicated “for a period of several days”, before the couple dumped Bella’s body in the water.

After their arrests, the couple pointed fingers at each other over her death, Massachusetts House Speaker Robert DeLeo said.

Speaking to the Globe and the Associated Press, prosecutors and police declined to comment on the truth of Amoroso’s account.
