Andy Samberg Gives Out HBO Now Password During Emmys
For anyone who was looking to watch some free HBO, Andy Samberg’s HBONow login and password became readily during Sunday’s Emmy Awards.
“The one thing which typically differentiates chicks of shade from anyone is opportunity”, she replied. She gave an emotional shout-out to fellow stars including Empire’s Taraji P Henson and Scandal’s Kerry Washington. The 22-time nominee, who’s only won twice, past year riffed on his poor track record after losing another Emmy.
“I, like nearly every model on the earth, auditioned for Friends”, Krakowski said.
Host Andy Samberg has kicked off the Emmy Awards with a video in which he made elaborate fun of the overload of TV programs available.
Stewart said if he “had known what life was like on the other side, I probably would have left sooner”.
But first he reminded the audience of his very bad ordeal, and his “long road back”, before assuring fans his famous raunchy comedy style was on the comeback trail. “I suffered a traumatic brain injury that put me in a coma for eight days”.
Samberg then noted that he was proud to join the ranks of previous Emmy hosts, including Bill Cosby. When accepting yet another award tonight, he candidly told the crowd, “To everybody on television, I just want to tell you, cling to it, as long as you can, like death…I have been off of television for six weeks, seven weeks, whatever it is. This is the first applause I’ve heard”.
Another much-honored actress, Allison Janney, won a supporting trophy for playing the title character in the CBS comedy, “Mom“.
Louis-Dreyfus, who had just picked up her fourth straight lead actress win for HBO’s “Veep“, obliged.
“In my dreams and visions, I seemed to see a line, and on the other side of that line were green fields, and lovely flowers, and attractive white ladies, who stretched out their arms to me over the line, but I couldn’t reach them no-how”, said Davis, quoting abolitionist and escaped slave Harriet Tubman in her emotional acceptance speech. With streaming services like Netflix and Amazon now in the awards race, it’s a feeling many can empathize with. Thank you for letting us be part of the change.
