Arsenal will travel to White Hart Lane to face arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday 23 September.
While the League Cup, now called the Capital One Cup, is regarded as the season’s lesser prize, both Tottenham and Arsenal would find defeat an unpalatable prospect.

Summer arrivals like Kevin Wimmer and Kevin Trippier get their second starts of the season while key first team players Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier get much needed breaks ahead of Saturday’s early match against Manchester City.
“I heard about the north London derby when I was in the Bundesliga”. The forward has scored twice in the league this season, which isn’t a bad start considering he has come on as a substitute in half of his six matches. His relatively diminutive size should play less of a role against an Arsenal side that is also relatively diminutive.
