ASUS unveils ZenFone Go 3G smartphone for Rs 7999
In order to expand its business and reach to the customers of India, the smartphone company, Asus has launched its latest device – Go. A 16GB version of the phone is also produced but there’s no news yet on when that will launch for India. It comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage options, which can be further expanded via MicroSD card.
ASUS is selling ZenFone Go in 3 colours: Black, White and Red.
Asus Zenfone Go specifications and features: The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) LCD display with a pixel density of 294ppi and an anti-fingerprint coating. The phone will be available via e-tailer FlipKart and Asus exclusive stores. Today, the company has announced the availability of the mid-range Zenfone Go device. Unlike previous generation ZenFone smartphones that packed Intel chipsets, and the more recent series that included Qualcomm chipset powered smartphones, the ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) features a quad-core MediaTek (MT6580) processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It has 8 MP Autofocus rear camera and 2 MP front camera. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The smartphone is also bundled with 100GB of free Google Drive storage for a period of two years.
Asus ZenFone Selfie ZD551KL runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Zen UI. The handset measures 71×144.5×9.98 mm and weighs 135 grams.
After a bunch of leaks, the Zenfone Go was accidentally listed on Flipkart last month. It doesn’t support 4G connectivity.
