JK Rowling tells a new Potter story on her website
The story will be appearing on the website Pottermore.com, which has been relaunched with a major redesign and is packed with exclusive writing, features, and news.
“Linfred was a vague and absent-minded fellow whose Muggle neighbours often called upon his medicinal services”, Rowling explained.
For starters, we learned that his family were descendents of a twelfth-century wizard, Linfred of Stinchcombe, who was renowned by Muggles for his cures in medicine, not knowing he was using magic.
