No Move For Robin Van Persie Yet Insists Agent
Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie is edging closer to a move to Fenerbahce after reaching an agreement in principle with the Super Lig side.
A friend of Manchester United striker, Robin van Persie is accusing the Red Devils of trying to drive the 31-year-old away from club behind his back.
The two clubs are now negotiating a fee for the 31-year-old, who has agreed to personal terms with the club and is ready to sign a four-year deal.
With Radamel Falcao already gone to Chelsea, Javier Hernandez injured and also rumored to be on the trading block, there are holes to fill in the attack already, even in Van Persie stays.
If this is indeed it for Van Persie as a key player on a major European club, it was a quick rise and fast descent. Van Gaal needs to settle on his tactics and surely he can not ignore the demands for a system that provides better entertainment than last season.
Manchester United fans have reason to be excited after promising youth prospect Callum Gribbin was given a chance to train with the first team by manager Louis van Gaal.
There is a chance Gribbin may be selected for United’s upcoming tour of the United States as Van Gaal, famous for promoting young talent, once again casts his eye over those coming through the Old Trafford academy. Despite firing the Reds to the title in his first year, his form has dipped terribly, with a paltry return of just 10 goals in all competitions last season.
Luton have made their ninth summer signing following the arrival of winger Danny Green. The deal is reportedly worth around £5 million and is expected to announced by both parties next week.
However, they started their league campaign with a home loss against Swansea City and eventually finished fourth in the Premier League last season.
Injuries have always been a part of Van Persie’s career except for a two-three year span in which he looked like one of the best in the world.
