Mom Spots Spider, Jumps Out of Moving auto
Yup, this auto crash began with a spider.
A woman’s intense fear of spiders has set off an improbable chain reaction that led to a collision with a school bus and sent her 9-year-old son to the hospital. But as he tried to hit the brake pedal, he instead pressed down on the throttle.
Sure, the auto then slammed into a school bus, injuring a 9-year-old boy in the process, but like, you try driving a vehicle when THIS EXACT SCENARIO happens.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was unable to tell The Huffington Post whether Kipp might face charges in the crash.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.
The driver of the school bus wasn’t injured and no children were on board, authorities said.
Upon seeing the spider on her shoulder, reports News Sentinel, the 35-year-old Kipp left the vehicle in gear and “driverless”, a risky situation that could’ve ended much worse.
Hill, who has been on the force for more than 25 years, called it “the most unusual situation to occur in my career”.
At this time the accident is still under investigation.
