Two found dead in apartment at scene of critical incident in Sparks
Mark Constantine’s most recent arrested in August “on suspicion of domestic battery by strangulation, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree domestic battery”.
A woman arrived at the residence to find her roommate dead inside, Reno Police Lt. William Rulla said.
Mark and Debbie Constantino, who appeared on the show “Ghost Adventures”, were found in an apartment on Tuesday.
Mark Constantino and his estranged wife Debby Constantino were found dead Tuesday in the town of Sparks. Attempts at negotiating with the husband failed, and eventually a S.W.A.T. team broke down the apartment door and found they were both already dead.
Sparks High School was placed on lockdown at about noon after police tracked a suspect in the Reno killing to the apartment. “Police then learned that another roommate, Debbie Constantino, was missing”.
Police say they found the bodies of a man and a woman in the Sparks apartment Tuesday after a man fired gunshots through the front door and a SWAT team responded to a hostage situation.
Police did not say how they were killed or what kind of gun was used. But Sparks police Lt. Rocky Triplett confirmed Wednesday the two incidents were “directly related”.
The suspect told the officers ‘give me 15 minutes to gather my thoughts or I’ll kill her, ‘ Reno Deputy Police Chief Tom Robinson told the newspaper.
Investigators claim they next heard a man’s voice screaming for the police to leave.
Police used explosives to open the door.
One Sparks police officer was treated for minor injuries from broken glass, but it’s unclear when he was injured during the hours-long incident, according to police.
They were featured on the Travel Channel series, including episodes shots at the Mustang Ranch brothel near Reno, the Goldfield Hotel and the Market Street Cinema in San Francisco.
