Brangelina to adopt a Syrian child?
Hollywood power couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, are reportedly planning to make one more addition to their family. Their biological children – Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne – are the youngest among all. They were brothers and the middle child could speak a little English. Jolie had met three brothers who were orphaned after their mother died in a bombing and their father was taken away by soldiers.
Brad told her that jumping from 6 to 9 children would be too much, not to mention potentially traumatic on the kids.
As per the latest reports received Brand and Angelina will be expanding their brood of six children by adoting another child and this time it is supposed to be a Syrian orphan.
The 40-year-old actress, who is an activist and human rights worker, was immensely disturbed by the predicament of numerous homeless youngsters during her travels to war-torn Syria.
The couple had plans to adopt the Syrian orphan since April, but the procedure has been slower than predicted. So ultimately they have planned on adopting 2-year old Moussa as a new addition to the family.
“It has been a very long process to adopt the Syrian orphan“, the source said. The show-business’ humanitarian couple is reported to have made up their mind to bring home a boy from Syria.
They also have three adopted children including Maddox, 13, from Cambodia, Pax, 11, from Vietnam, and ten-year-old Zahara from Ethiopia. As the Special Envoy for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), she recently spoke to the UN about the lack of aid for refugees and how this needs to change. It may take another four to five months for the adopted child to reach the United States thanks to all the red tape involved. The Brad was concern about the rest of the kids that they think that it will get the impact on the other kids.
