In his latest book “Leading” Ferguson pinpointed Raiola as a football agent “I simply do not like” and described his dealings with the Italian that eventually led to Pogba leaving Old Trafford as “a fiasco”.

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has suggested that Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola was to blame for the Frenchman not signing a new contract with United.
Pogba moved to Juventus on a free transfer after failing to establish himself within Ferguson’s first team, and has gone on to become a full France worldwide with a reported value of €100 million. I am an agent who takes an interest in their players.
“Although I am not a Sir, I will behave like one when I’m talking about him (Ferguson)”, Raiola was reported as saying on a Gazzetta dello Sport website report.
“The facts as he told him are not true”.
“We just agreed that no player should be paid more than me”, Ferguson wrote.
“Several times I have phoned a few of the managers, giving them a bit of advice and they have been good”.
“I think nothing is wrong with that”, Ferguson said. I’ll keep the truth to myself.

Moyes was sacked before the end of a disastrous first season and United and Ferguson accepted the criticism of the appointment was expected after some of the decisions made by the former Everton boss. “Ferguson never believed in Pogba and Juventus did”.
“Getting the consensus from other clubs will be more hard because there’s a pressure on the manager to get the results, which means sometimes he tosses his beliefs out the window because he wants to keep his job”.
Ferguson and Rooney have since taken steps to fix their broken relationship, with the two men making conciliatory public remarks about one another.
