Questions about guns, football, WWE, ‘Home Alone 2 — Trump’s Twitter Q&A
But the thousands of jeering, hilarious questions the candidate left unanswered stole the show.
To no surprise, when asked what he would do on his first day as president, Trump said “close up the borders, so illegal immigrants can not come into the country”.
Trump’s video responses featured the candidate talking about everything from student debt, to helping the homeless, to the Dallas Cowboys’ National Football League future without injured quarterback Tony Romo. “We’re taking our jobs back”, he said, without elaborating.
For the former, he stated, “I am very pro Second Amendment”, referring to “just released papers” on the subject at donaldjtrump.com.
Viewers submitted their own #AskTrump questions (many of them mocking) and Trump responded, as you might expect, with big, bold promises.
Numerous questions were earnest, but the vast majority appeared to be either harsh critiques of things Trump has said in the past, or jokes at Trump’s expense.
“Israel will be very secure if I win this election”.
More colorful questions avoided the issues of politics and business all together. Another wondered, “Who proposed this awful idea to you and may I kiss them?”
