PlayStation VR to attract console price
The new head-mounted virtual reality system’s name has been changed from Project Morpheus to PlayStation VR.
Sony’s PlayStation VR isn’t the only Virtual Reality augmented headset that is going to be leashed upon the audience, the other popular companies such as Facebook, HTC, and Samsung also have their own versions of VR headsets.
Sony Entertainment CEO Andrew House has given a rough price estimate of the PlayStation VR, but fans are still in the dark on precisely when it will be released. It’ll be interesting to see if Sony can get its studios working more efficiently and timely than what we’ve seen so far this generation.
It will provide gamers with spectacular, memorable VR gaming experience, when it comes out in 2016.
“Using VR tech, it’s so easy, it’s nearly unfair”, he said. He didn’t exactly revel any specific number, but said that the PlayStation VR headset will come at the price similar to new gaming platform.
He adds, “You can create totally awesome experiences with very, very limited resources if you have the right idea”. “Some developers are reacting to that”. “And some of them are reacting to that, so I have am very optimistic of the variety of games and experiences that will be available at launch”.
As indicated by House, players will have a lot of choices to look over when the PlayStation VR headset is discharged as 10 diversions are as of now being developed for it. This new screen expands the field of view and enables low persistence, removing motion blur. Due to the hardware components that power the console being unable to maintain smooth VR performance, Sony’s latest video game console has to leverage power from a separate source called “Processing Unit”, or a PU. Combining this power with the OLED display equates to an amazingly smooth visual experience. It helps to deliver a sense of presence and comfort to players.
