Facebook Launches Star Wars: The Force Awakens 360 Video
The official Star Wars facebook page released the video.
As the December 18 debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens draws ever closer, more and more is being revealed about the movie, its characters and its plot.
The latest edition of the British version of GQ, which goes on sale tomorrow, has a big profile on the 23-year-old Attack the Block star where he dishes on his time in that far, far away galaxy.
The Force Awakens came in second place for this year, although it only came in third overall in terms of excitement levels about films researched by Piedmont. It might not be a popular decision, but necessary evils are a big part of the Star Wars universe, and that’s the kind explosive narrative swerve that could reduce even the hardiest of souls to tears.
Facebook have said that it’s “early days”, but they’re “excited about the possibilities for 3D video and hope it helps people explore the world in new, immersive ways”.
According to game maker Electronic Arts, which is behind the “Star Wars: Battlefront” game due out this fall, Jakku is a “remote desert planet” and the site of a pivotal battle “where the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts”. Luke loses all of his father figures in the original trilogy and Han Solo is an outsider who gains a family despite quite literally being the personification of the rogue anti-hero. Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron reportedly seeks out the elder Jakku native in order to find out where Luke is.
Does that mean he shoots first and kisses his sister?
Though Boyega couldn’t say much about the movie’s plot or his character Finn’s arc, he did share that Finn’s story is similar to that of our favorite Jedi: “Finn is dope”.
