S. Korea sees no sign of imminent NK rocket launch
This morning CNN reported that Kim Ryon Hui, a dress maker from the North Korean capital of Pyongyang, is “desperate” to return to her hometown and see her family because she feels “trapped” in South Korea. While analysts are reportedly doubtful of that claim, North Korea has conducted three nuclear tests, and analysts believe that a fourth could increase the country’s chances of creating a miniaturized warhead.
Border crime involving impoverished North Koreans has also been an irritant between North Korea and China.
But higher prices could mean better value – the source said the food is “delicious”, and includes seven to eight dishes.
In a lengthy screed denouncing “intolerable” criticism of Pyongyang’s human rights record, a North Korean foreign ministry spokesman argued that Washington should be the real focus of censure.
“Weddings venues are typically reserved for two to three hours”, Radio Free Asia’s source said. Before long, Kim found herself unable to keep up with the steep bills for her treatment.
“I was thinking of recovering completely before returning to my aging parents”. The tens of thousands of people, who managed to flee the pariah state since the 1990s, have each had a concrete reason to leave behind their homes and families. “At present China’s public security authorities are investigating”, he added, without elaborating. But rather than banishing spies, South Korea instead imprisons them.
Kim’s two accomplices, surnamed Bang and Hwang, were sentenced to seven and six years behind bars, respectively.
And in order to be released from a South Korean processing center, Kim says she had to sign document renouncing communism and agreeing to follow the laws of the South. By doing so, she became a South Korean citizen.
She told CNN: “There is nothing else for me to say but I am sorry”.
As soon as she arrived in South Korea, Kim began demanding to go home to the North.
South Korean media said that two Chinese civilians were injured in the incident in Jilin province. “Kim must be allowed to return to the bosom of [North Korea], in accordance with her strong appeal”.
