Kelly Ripa unveils blue ‘superhero’ hair

Kelly Ripa debuted yet another new hairdo on Thursday, as she ditched her pink locks to a bright blue shade. Only weeks after taking her signature blonde to a hot pink shade, the talk-show host took to Instagram yesterday to unveil her vivid blue tone-while making a witty Eminem reference in her caption.

But don’t get too excited over Kelly’s cerulean tint, folks, because it’s not here to stay. “I know when she wants to do something but I never know what until I get a text the day of”. The whole process took close to four hours to complete.

Whereas her first hairstyle was all about light pink excitement (“For the love of pink!”), she took more of a ‘tude with this new one, a vivid bright teal that also came courtesy of Sally Hershberger Downtown stylist Ryan Trygstad.

Kelly Ripa took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 8, to reveal that she’s dyed her hair again! “[Then] Mark walks upstairs and he’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, you look like the Lucky Charms guy.'”.

“I think I might go red next”, she told Strahan at the time. “My sons [Michael, 18, and Joaquin, 12] love it”, she said. It’ll wash out. This will wash out, I just haven’t washed my hair yet.’.

She said on Live!: ‘We dyed it blue and it turned a lime green. “I then layered some other hues for depth and went for a darker midnight blue in the back and underneath”.
