Pixelmator for iPad updated with iOS 9 multitasking support
On older iPads, split-screen multitasking will be limited to Slide Over.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Twitterrific can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. “With the new components in Pixelmator for iOS, it is considerably less demanding and more enjoyable to alter pictures on the go”.
Pixelmatorfor iOS was rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of Apple’s A8X processor, making it 2x faster than the original OS X version. With today’s update to version 2.1, users will be able to take advantage of Split Screen and Slide Over for the iPad, and edit images with resolution up to 8K. With Save to Photos, you can now open an image from Photos, edit it and save it back onto the same image, without creating a copy.
Users can now also send and receive direct messages up to 10,000 characters through the app. If you’re juggling multiple Twitter handles, swipe up or down on your timeline with two or three finger to quickly change accounts. You can unlock other features with in-app purchases. A few of these features were not fully realised with the iPad Mini 2 we used for our initial iOS 9 beta hands-on, luckily, I have since switched to the iPad Air 2.
Today’s redesign likewise incorporates support for 8K determination pictures, letting clients alter photographs that are up to 64 megapixels on their iPhone or iPad, and Spotlight Search on the iPhone and iPad will now file Pixelmator records so they’ll appear in query items.
