Does One Direction’s new album diss at Zayn Malik?
The quartet also dropped a new song, “Infinity”, which is now on Spotify and comes with the pre-order of the new album on iTunes.
Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Harry Styles have announced new tracks for their upcoming album.
The song, ‘Infinity’, is an epic and rousing slice of guitar pop written by John Ryan, Jamie Scott and Julian Bunetta, the team behind One Direction‘s massive hit ‘Story Of My Life’.
Made in the A.M. will be the band’s first release since Zayn Malik sensationally quit back in March.
“How many nights have you wished someone would stay?” they sing. “Lay awake only hoping they’re okay?”
Naughty Boy has said that he was wrongly accused of getting Zayn Malik to leave One Direction. So far, the first single of 1D’s fifth album, “Drag Me Down”, has topped the UK Singles chart, earned third place in the US Billboard Chart and broke the worldwide streaming record.
This year has been a very hard one for the One Direction fans around the world, as they have had to come to terms with a number of different changes over the course of 2015.
One Direction typically hold out on releasing pertinent information like album titles and release dates until the absolute last minute.
But the “La La La” producer risks sparking the ire of 1D fans with some of his comments, describing One Direction as being more “like an economy” than a band, but admitting that the spat become “a bit of a circus” by the end. As reported in the Inquisitr, Louis and the boys spent Tuesday evening playing a well-received intimate show at London’s Roundhouse. In addition to playing hits such as “What Makes You handsome”, “Little Things” and “Steal My Girl”, all four members made a huge effort to make it fun for everyone by interacting with the audience.
Naughty Boy and Zayn had initially collaborated on a new song together right after he left One Direction. Niall Horan too, last month denied the rumours posting on Twitter, “We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well-earned break at some point next year”.
