Mark and Debby Constantino, the paranormal investigators that featured in a reality TV series were found dead in their daughter’s apartment on Tuesday.

The Constantinos had a long history of domestic violence including 10 incidents in the past three years, with Debra acting as the primary aggressor in a majority of the incidents, according a police source. Tom Robinson, the Deputy Chief of Reno Police Department, said that they heard several gunshots being fired while they knocked the apartment’s door.

Police responding to an emergency call in Reno on Tuesday morning found the body of James Anderson, 55, who had been shot in the head, authorities said.

The person allegedly attacked in the incident was Debra Constantino. On the show, which launched in 2008, the couple showed off their expertise in Electronic Voice Phenomenon.

Investigators learned that Debra Constantino, 52, who was Anderson’s roommate, was missing. Last month, Mark was charged with kidnapping and domestic battery against Debby.

Police located Debby inside her daughter’s apartment in Sparks on Thursday by using a cellphone tracking device.

“The gunfire was accompanied by a male voice advising the officers to retreat and that this was a hostage situation”, the news release states.

“Demonstrated pattern of domestic violence in the past”.

Negotiators made contact with Mark Constantino nearly immediately. Around 1:30 p.m. the cops reportedly heard loud bangs from the apartment in the wake of which they broke into the house and found the “Ghost Adventures” couple dead.

Police said an autopsy was conducted but that the exact circumstances of the deaths has not been determined. Inside, the “Ghost Adventures” stars were both discovered dead.
