Chelsea are trying to push through an emergency loan move for Manchester United star Victor Valdes, according to reports.

Now, Chelsea fans here in the Tavern are still struggling to come to terms with the news that first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out with injury for a sizeable amount of time.

But asked about the possibility at a press conference this afternoon, Mourinho was clear that he is not about to ask the Premier League to grant his side an emergency loan deal to sign Valdes.
