Moustakas added to AL All-Star game in final vote
Moustakas will be a first-time All-Star. Moustakas was one of five candidates to be voted on by fans for the final spot on the 34-man American League roster. Fans can vote online at MLB.com and individual club sites, including Twinsbaseball.com or through mobile devices by texting the word “VOTE” to 89269 to receive a ballot.

Major League Baseball is asking fans to vote for the final player to make the National and American League lineups and to drum up support Brian Dozier, the Minnesota Twins are making use of Case construction equipment.
Public voting is open until 3 p.m. Friday, and players are pushing for those numbers. He also has the most extra-base hits by the All-Star break of any player in the history of the Twins (and formerly the Washington Senators) franchise.
Moustakas joins Lorenzo Cain, Salvador Perez, Alcides Escobar, Alex Gordon, Wade Davis, and Kelvin Herrera on the American League All-Star team, managed by Ned Yost.
Dozier is hitting. 257 to this point in the 2015 season, adding 45 runs batted in, 26 doubles, and 18 home runs for the Twins.
The All-Star Game will air on FOX next Tuesday.
