McCown primed for ‘chance to shine’ if Brees can’t play

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees remains day to day with a bruised right rotator cuff, keeping his status for Sunday’s game in Carolina in question. Brees has been so important to the Saints and the city of New Orleans; his contributions can not be underestimated.
