New autumn espresso beverage available in Starbucks® stores across U.S. and Canada
It also means that fall is nearly here, since apparently “fall starts with three letters: PSL” according to every fall Starbucks advertisement ever.
Starbucks introduced its first new autumn espresso drink in four years on Wednesday.
Created to conjure “feelings of fall, comfort and warmth”, the Toasted Graham Latte is made with espresso, steamed milk, flavors of graham, sweet cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon graham crumbles.
Instead of cereal, however, the coffee gurus used a graham cracker taste to give the latte that toasted, autumn vibe. There’s a new cup of coffee in town.
You may not believe it, but Starbucks beverage R&D manager Yoke Wong says that the inspiration for Starbucks’ brand new seasonal drink actually came from something as humble as cereal milk.
“I thought about the back-to-school season and looked at the latest food and beverage trends”, said Wong.
PUMPKIN BEER: Dry Dock Pumpkin Spice Beer (Aurora) We know there are lots of Colorado brews out there inspired by pumpkin, but one of the most popular comes from Aurora’s Dry Dock Brewing. Are you as excited for the TGL and ordering app as we are? A medium Pumpkin Pie Iced Capp from Tim Hortons will cost you 470 calories, 21 grams of fat and 58 grams of sugar.
The special cups will be available through the end of October, and Starbucks employees will be writing customers’ names – with varying degrees of accuracy, we imagine – in fall-friendly orange markers.
