Little Mix Sing Their New Track Onstage… nearly
One Direction were given a rapturous welcome by fans as they headlined the fourth night of the Apple Music Festival in London.
The band played at The Roundhouse venue in London for the first time and treated the audience to a set packed with their greatest hits from over the past three decades. Gary introduced the song saying: “This is the song that bought us back after all those years”. “It’s nice to have you so close.” Aww.
During the performance, the trio showed off their musical talents, including piano playing by Gary and guitar by Mark.
Miss Davis, who has previously travelled to Brussels and New York to see the band, said: “It has been raining all day, it has been wet, we are soggy, I am cold, but it’s worth it”.
The band closed their hour-long set with Best Song Ever.
Although the stage set was a scaled down version of their recent sell-out arena tour, the boys still showed off their synchronized dance moves as giant glitter balls spun around and disco lights flashed.
After Apple Music’s signature countdown, Take That’s (huge) band took to the stage, soon followed by Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald, the remaining three members of Take That.
Things could have been very awkward for Perrie as the act she and her Little Mix bandmates opened for at Tuesday night’s festival was none other than One Direction, but as we all know her famous ex Zayn Malik is now well out of that equation.
Having already rebranded its annual iTunes Festival following the launch of Apple Music, Apple is planning to give the London venue for the new Apple Music festival a revamp too.
