This is the wildest extra point kick you’ll ever see
With all of the action going on in your standard football game, it’s not really common to see field goals make their way to the highlight reel! Everything looks good in the set-up, good snap, holder gets it down quickly, and Aranda approaches only for the following to happen. But then the football goes knuckle-balling like a Cristano Ronaldo free-kick, ricochets off the ref’s head, bounces off the crossbar, and manages to find its way through the uprights.
When Luis Aranda of Lee High School lined up to kick an extra point, he drove the ball far too low for it to clear the upright for the PAT.
The referees counted the kick and Midland Lee won the game 35-16. It’s the least he deserves for getting drilled int he face and having his hat knocked off. I’m no scientist, but that seems like it’s near impossible to pull off, even if you’re trying to do it.
