The episodes will be filmed in the National Football League offseason, and the show is now slated for a 20 episode run.
Newton, 26, is also an executive producer for the series. “Newton tried to leap over a Texans defender, took a hit, got flipped all the way around, and landed on his feet in the endzone like a cat-a 250-pound, 6’4” cat.
Newton plays the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. “You know I’m a kid at heart, we all know that but yet, I think nowadays days, so much is really said about reality TV”.
“I just hate that I didn’t stick it, ” Newton said of the landing. “I’ve gotten the nickname Superman, SuperCam ever since I can remember. Your superpower may be drawing, your superpower may be being a teacher, your superpower may be even being a scientist or a doctor”. Then spent the evening with the kids and helped make everyone forget why they were there – which is everything.
