Six signings Leeds United should consider in January
Leeds United head coach Uwe Rosler has warned Middlesbrough that he has transformed the Whites into a hard to beat outfit who are a force to be reckoned with.
After so many years out of the top flight, Leeds must be aiming for a return.
“We’re very happy that we’ve got him on loan with a view to be here throughout the whole season”. They have gone further, they have improved even more and that is where we are. We always try to mean business.
“That suits us. That suits our style and I think when we do it right, any team in our league will have problems against us because we can be very hard to play against”.
Leeds then survived a 90-minute barrage earlier this year to come away with all three points – extending their impressive record in the North-east, having only ever lost once at the Riverside.
“I think we’ve shown a great team effort and work ethic in the way we work against the ball”.
“Now I go with Leeds United to Middlesbrough and I think the best way sometimes is to attack”.
A playful and relaxed Rosler in response to opening questions.
Rosler said: “We need that sort of drive in wider areas and also in midfield to commit defenders. On Thursday we had the day off and (on Friday) I haven’t spoken to him, but (on Saturday) I will speak with him again”, Rosler said. However, with academy graduates Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt so prominent in the side, the Elland Road outfit are looking up.
One Boro player hoping for a recall to the starting line-up is former Leeds midfielder Adam Clayton.
