Tequila is Anne Hathaway’s ‘beverage of choice’

The oscar-award winning actor was promoting his new film with Anne Hathaway The Intern during the awkward interview [Wenn].

“I really loved the vomiting scene”.

At first, Jules is unnerved by Ben and how observant he is, but as Ben gets to know her, house-husband Matt (Anders Holm) and sickeningly cute daughter Paige (JoJo Kushner) they bond and become friends who learn a lot from each other.

The Heat star’s legendary status isn’t lost on Hathaway.

“He had a fun idea for me to play this character and it was just a thing I was curious to do”.

Meyers, the mastermind behind a list of favorite American comedies, including “Father of the Bride“, “The Parent Trap” and “Something’s Gotta Give“, said she wanted to try exploring a new kind of friendship in her latest film.

What do you suppose might happen if the gangster from classics such as “Mean Streets”, “The Godfather: Part II“, “Goodfellas“, “Casino”, “Analyze This” and so many more actually co-starred with America’s sweetheart from “The Princess Diaries“, “Ella Enchanted”, “The Devil Wears Prada“, and “Get Smart” to name a few? In this case, I think the observations she has made are about generational humor. “My experience with famous, iconic actors like Bob, Meryl or Nicholson is they’re in your movie to be good”. “Annie is the flawless girl for this movie”. She admits “losing my cool” because she expected De Niro to utter one-word answers and was surprised at his “hostility”. “These guys were a gift to me”. You know, he’s not a million jokes a minute, but he cares about what he does so much.

“The world has changed, and I’ve been making movies for a long-enough period that I can examine the lives of these women who have families and have children (and run companies)”, she says.

Being in the same room as someone you’re a big fan of is a good opportunity to approach them for a chat, but Anne couldn’t bring herself to go near her idol. “I’m freaking out, like she’s two arm-lengths away right now”. Sort of in my mid-40s I decided that I was going to take a year off after each movie, because doing everything takes a lot out of me. And I didn’t write the copy line on the poster, but it does say “Wisdom never gets old”.
