Ronda Rousey named to Fortune’s ’40 Under 40′ list
“At the end of the day, pretty boy Floyd would knock the living stuffing out of Ronda Rousey”, Abbott said. Robins earned the eighth spot on the list.
Fortune’s list refers to the 40 people under the age of 40 who “standout for measurements of wealth, power, achievement, ambition, and influence”. She didn’t exactly turn the idea down completely, but she mentioned that she will be filming her upcoming movie, Mile 22, alongside Oscar nominee Mark Wahlberg and action star Iko Uwais. “I think a real wrestling fan would want to be surprised”, the most risky unarmed woman on the planet said via FOX Sports.
“She is inspiring not only women in sports, and not only women, but people everywhere”. But regardless, Rousey recently sold the rights to the book for a feature film she will produce and star in.
When she later donated all the proceeds to mental health organisation Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, Health Magazine called her “exactly the type of role model we need”. Rousey will fight fellow unbeaten Holly Holm – a matchup she announced live on “Good Morning America” in August, further proving her mainstream draw. “I will. She will have to make me a sandwich – that’s what I get for winning”, he added. “She’s a girl. It’s all about this emotional stuff”.
But when it comes to comparing Rousey to other athletes, she came out on top, titled the “most dominant athlete alive” by Business Insider in comparison to everyone from second ranked LeBron James to 14th place Floyd Mayweather Jr. She’s made the rounds for just about every talk show in the country … and all in addition to fighting.
“It would start, whoever the guy was I’d throw him to the ground and either give him a choke or an armbar”, she continued.
By the looks of it, Tank will be able to keep his $100,000, but will be forced to make his own sandwiches from now on.
