Clinton, Trump lead primary pack in Quinnipiac Poll

He speaks from experience when he lays out plans to repeal Obamacare and his rags-to-riches story appeals to both Democrats and Republicans.

According to the CNN/WMUR New Hampshire Primary Poll released this week, Trump leads the crowded field of Republican presidential candidates with more than a quarter of the vote among the state’s likely GOP primary voters. Trump’s style may be a liability in the general election, though.

In its analysis of the “Longshot Frontrunners”, the group says party leaders are poised to stop Mr. Trump.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump had a lot to say to Bill O’Reilly and Fox News about how they were treating him. He also has a commonly used tactic to create his support base, which he has already mastered.

That blue line for Trump has dipped to where he was at the start of August.

The results reinforce a recent CNN/ORC poll that showed an ascendent Fiorina in the wake of her strong debate performance last week. But Clinton, who handily defeated Barack Obama in the 2008 Florida primary but lost the nomination nationally, lags behind GOP candidates in possible match-ups. But does the gap shrinkage actually mean anything with regard to the field of candidates – besides, of course, the rise of businesswoman Carly Fiorina and famed neurosurgeon Ben Carson? Sanders had positive favorability ratings as well, 35 percent to 28 percent, but Clinton continues to poll in the negative for overall favorability due largely to the ongoing email scandal, with 55 percent viewing her unfavorable compared to 41 percent favorable.

“He sweats more than any young person I’ve ever seen in my life”, said Trump, eliciting hearty laughs from the “Morning Joe” panelists.
