Montgomery Gentry singer loses son

A spokeswoman for Eddie Montgomery, one-half of the country duo Montgomery Gentry, says the singer has lost his 19-year-old son. Before his passing he was placed on life support at Kentucky Hospital.

“My son Hunter went to heaven today”, said Eddie Montgomery.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

According to Hunter Montgomery’s Facebook page, his fiancee recently gave birth to their son.

Hunter is the youngest of Montgomery’s kids with ex-wife Tracy. Hunter also leaves behind a brother and two sisters, Kevin, Brooke and Candace.

Poor Eddie has been through his share of experiences. He was being treated for his injuries at hospital in Kentucky. Thankfully, he was declared cancer free one year later. He’s since filed for bankruptcy and watched his restaurant close. Eddie married Jennifer Belcher in April 2014. “Unfortunately, we have to fill you in on more heartbreaking news this morning from the Montgomery Gentry family”, they wrote.
